Patient On-line Services
This practice currently offers patients’ facilities to:
o Book, view, amend, cancel and print appointments online.
o Order online, view and print a list of their repeat prescriptions for drugs, medicines or appliances.
This practice plans to offer patients facilities to view online, export or print any summary information from thei rrecord, relating to medications, allergies, adverse reactions and any other items agreed between the practice and individual patient, from January 2015*Note 1.
We will publicise and promote our online services to our practice’s patients through the practice website, practice waiting room leaflets, posters and the Patient Participation Group by December 31st 2014*Note 1.
This practice intends to make use of newGP2GP messaging technology, which will enable the practice to receive patients clinical records electronically as new patients join the practice. The practice intends to start use of this software by end NHS Financial Year Quarter 4, 2014/15 *Note 1

Summary Care Record
This practice intends to make use of new Summary Care Record. A Summary Care Record is an electronic record, which contains information about the medicines you take, allergies you suffer from and any bad reactions to medicines you have had. Having this information stored in one place makes it easier for health care staff to treat you in an emergency, or when your GP practice is closed.

The practice intends to start use of this software by end NHS Financial Year Quarter 1, 2015/16*Note 1
*Note 1 – NHS Financial Year Quarter 4 2014/15, covers the period from January 1st to March 31st2015. NHS Financial Year Quarter 1 2015/16, covers the period April 1stto June 30st 2015. These dates are subject change and to the necessary NHS GP systems and software being available to the practice.
